Stevens County 2027 Comprehensive Plan Update and Development Regulations
Stevens County is updating its Comprehensive Plan and development regulations, and preparing a new climate resiliency element.
The County’s Comprehensive Plan (Plan) was last updated in 2022. The updated plan will prepare the County for growth through 2047. The plan serves as the centerpiece to local planning efforts and covers 15 goals as required by Washington State’s Growth Management Act (GMA).
What's New?
The Stevens County 2027 Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations Update and Climate Element will address the County’s needs and challenges to prepare for future growth. Key areas that the plan will cover include Economic Development, Land Use, Natural Resources, Housing, Open Space and Recreation, Transportation, Public Facilities and Services, and the new topic Climate Resiliency.
